Analysis data and parameters

MINDRAW calculates indicators from points recorded in the FIT file, usually one point per second. Implausible or unusable values are excluded depending on the metric.

Fallback values

  • If maximum heart rate is unknown, it may be estimated as 220 − age.
  • If age is unavailable, a conservative value of 190 bpm may be used to build the zones.
  • An unspecified threshold pace may use 6:00 min/km in calculations that need it.

These values allow an analysis to be produced, but a reliable personal measurement is preferable.

Data quality

The quality score indicates whether the activity contains enough coherent points for calculations. It does not assess the session or the athlete’s performance.
