Limits and precautions

A sports analysis always depends on its input data. Before drawing a conclusion, check:

  • heart-rate continuity;
  • GPS and altitude quality;
  • pauses or stops;
  • weather conditions;
  • terrain type;
  • fatigue, illness, hydration and equipment;
  • whether the session is representative.

Compare like with like

A hilly run cannot be compared directly with a flat run. A short, intense session is not read like a long run. Prefer similar periods, routes and goals.

Not a diagnosis

MINDRAW does not detect illness, injury or clinical overtraining. If you experience pain, discomfort, unusual breathlessness or persistent decline, stop exercising and consult a healthcare professional.
