Enter your reference VO₂max
VO₂max is the maximum amount of oxygen the body can use during intense effort. It is expressed in ml/kg/min.
In MINDRAW, open My profile and enter the value under Reference VO₂max (ml/kg/min). Accepted values range from 20 to 90.

The field is located below Weight and Height. The values in this illustration are examples and do not belong to a real athlete.
Which value should you use?
Prefer the most recent value obtained from:
- a laboratory test;
- a supervised field test, such as a Cooper test;
- a stable estimate from your watch;
- a credible older measurement, remembering that it may no longer represent your current level.
Do not average unrelated sources. Choose an identifiable reference and keep a consistent method when comparing changes.
Reference and estimate
The reference is declared in your profile. Estimated VO₂max is derived from usable activities. They may differ because of terrain, fatigue, heat, sensor quality, watch methodology or time elapsed since the test.
A temporary decrease in the estimate does not automatically mean that physiological capacity has declined. Look at the trend across several sessions.
